With reference to the above we have the pleasure to inform you that the third edition of the Bearing Equivalent Catalogue “Bearing Book” has been published. The previous two editions were a run-away success but this catalogue has much more additional information to offer. This unique catalogue covering about 65 leading bearing related manufacturers of the world gives elaborate information on bearings in respect to its dimensions, type, weight and equivalent numbers in other brands etc. This catalogue is highly useful for all industries using various types of bearings. In the past we have already published two editions (in 1972 and 1984) which were a huge success hence this time we want all possible industries to know that such a unique type of a catalogue is available in the market and can be used as a regular handbook for all who handle the subject ‘Bearing’.
As all bearing manufacturers are marking the bearings differently a customer is forced to go back to the same manufacturer not knowing that a similar bearing of the same size and dimensions is available in the market at a lesser price or better quality. With the help of this catalogue all such monopolistic practices can be done away with. There is also emphasis laid on the thermal power industry where the critical bowl mill bearings have been well defined and all equivalent bearing numbers of all manufacturers are tabled. Another additional feature is on the split bearings where no equivalent catalogues are available anywhere in the world. At every store where bearings are checked or stored the storekeeper has to stock various bearing catalogues but with our catalogue he would only have to stock one book.
This catalogue is in two parts comprising of 350 pages each in size of 10 by 15 inch and weighing totally about four kilograms.
